I read, I like, I share (7) : Robert Fulghum

“To be human is to keep

rattling the bars of the cage of existence,

‘what’s it for?'”

— Robert Fulghum

Thought of the day :

The Hong Kong dockers’ strike is into its 12th day.  They are not only fighting for better work conditions and a 17% pay rise, but for a dignified existence.  As human beings.

Appalling reports of unjustifiable demands on their working life are all over the specifically set up Facebook pages.  Word is spreading fast.  Donations, sympathy and solidarity are coming their way.

If this is an awakening, it is good to know that among the supporters are many from the younger generation.   There is hope for the future.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart, and you’ll never walk alone.
